How many scholarships will Francis Gregory Foundation offer?

In 2025, the Foundation plans to offer two scholarships of $6,000 each.

Can I change my application after it has been submitted?

No. Submitted applications are final. Please check your application carefully before you submit it.

How do I apply for the scholarship?

To apply, please carefully read all information. Applications can only be made on the form supplied. The application form will be available from either francisgregory.org.au or by request via email from 10 October 2024. Your emailed application must be received by 5:00pm on 3 January 2025.

Can I defer the scholarship if I defer my place at university?

From 2025, it is possible to defer the place at university to allow for a gap year (one year only) to be taken. Please see requirements under Conditions of Scholarship.

I am currently taking a gap year. Can I still apply for a Francis Gregory Scholarship?

No, you are not eligible for the scholarship. Eligibility for a gap year only applies for students who undertake their final year of VCE in 2024.

How does the Principal endorse my application?

The Principal endorses your application by signing the final page of the application form. Please ensure you complete your scholarship in time to obtain this signature.

I do not reside on the land which provides the family income. Am I still eligible to apply?

A statutory declaration is required, outlining the reasons why you do not do not reside on the land providing family income. This is to be attached to and sent with your application.
